Sandhill Cranes

Sandhill Cranes, or as we call them; living dinosaurs. These birds should be on every waterfowler’s bucket list.

We chase these huge birds as soon as they enter our area. Our fields are lined up with the migration route and our numbers build year after year.

We hunt them in the mornings as they leave the roost and look for their next meal. A mixture of silhouettes and full body decoys allows us to be successful when targeting these birds.
